Become.com Aides Those Affected in Japan

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--()--Become.com, one of the world’s largest comparison shopping companies, announced today that it has established a $10,000 matching donation program where employee donations will be matched dollar for dollar to help those affected by the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

“Our hearts go out to all the people in Japan who are affected by this terrible disaster and hope that our matching donation program will encourage employees to participate in helping those affected,” said Michael Yang, CEO and President of Become.com. “This situation was especially close to our hearts because we have an office in Tokyo and our employees were directly impacted by the current situation.”

To aid those affected in Japan, Become.com has created a dedicated “Japan Relief Fund” on the homepage which links to the Red Cross making it easy for people to donate.
