DALLAS--()--BearCom, a nationwide provider of wireless communications equipment and solutions, today announced the availability of the 2011 Wireless Technology Report.

The report is a byproduct of Today's Wireless World, a magazine that BearCom began publishing in 2006. Today's Wireless World has and continues to report on recent developments in wireless technology and communicates those developments in layman's language to executives and managers who are in charge of deploying wireless technologies for their businesses or organizations.

The magazine and report were conceived by Kent Huffman, chief marketing officer at BearCom, who recognized these tools as an opportunity to showcase the products and solutions offered by BearCom and its industry leading partners, such as Motorola, Icom America, Vertex Standard, Sprint Nextel, Sony, Firetide, and BridgeWave, among others. The 2011 Wireless Technology Report chronicles the rapid developments that are occurring in wireless technology and the tremendous impact those developments are having on humans.

"We are excited to be a participant in the publishing of this report, which examines how various wireless technologies are being deployed across the nation, from two-way radios to mesh wide area networks," said Hal Herron, Motorola Sales and Services Inc. (MSSI) vice president and senior director, North America Channels, Motorola Solutions. "It’s very important that information about the use of wireless technology be communicated through the eyes of the user, which is exactly what the report does."

Last fall, Today's Wireless World was recognized with an International Award of Excellence from the Society for Technical Communication, which praised the magazine for innovation, style, and clarity, among other factors. "We take tremendous pride in both Today’s Wireless World and the Wireless Technology Report," said BearCom's Huffman. “Because of our many partners and extensive customer base, we are in a unique position to provide an industry perspective on the constantly changing world of wireless technology."

The 2011 edition of the Wireless Technology Report can be downloaded for free from BearCom’s Web site at www.BearCom.Com/Resource-Library. Although printed quantities are limited, requests for free samples of the report should be sent by e-mail to TodaysWirelessWorld@BearCom.com.
