SHENZHEN, China & SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Huawei Technologies Inc. and Intertrust Technologies Corporation today announced a partnership that licenses Huawei to commercially deploy Intertrust’s Sushi Marlin Client SDK and Bluewhale Marlin Broadband Server. Business and technology teams from the two companies will also collaborate to develop business opportunities around the world.
Huawei is a leader in Set Top Boxes and managed network services for the world’s leading network carriers and service providers. Intertrust is one of the five founder companies of the Marlin Digital Rights Management (DRM) standard and the leading provider of solutions based on Marlin.

The Japanese Internet TV services AcTVila and Hikari, the Philips NetTV platform in Europe, as well as Sony’s PlayStation and Qriocity services also use Marlin as their DRM system.
