DDS Road Shows Deliver Comprehensive Introduction to Industry-Leading Messaging and Integration Standard

RTI seminar series demonstrates how DDS middleware integrates mission-critical systems

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--()--Real-Time Innovations (RTI), The Global Leader in DDS, today announced the rollout of the 2011 DDS Road Show series. The series comprises half-day and full-day seminars that demonstrate how Data Distribution Service (DDS) middleware can dramatically improve the way mission-critical, distributed systems are developed, integrated, and maintained.

The technical seminars—designed for program managers, system architects and software developers in industries where system failure is not an option—are scheduled in twenty cities in the United States and Canada.

“Momentum for DDS continues to build as more and more companies discover the benefits of this powerful technology standard,” commented Curt Schacker, vice president of Worldwide Field Operations for RTI. “I'm pleased to be able to offer this free educational service to help people learn how DDS might help them accomplish their challenging program objectives.”

Today, DDS is the most widely used middleware standard for integrating complex systems across a wide range of industries, including aerospace and defense, industrial control, transportation, smart energy, and financial services. Companies in these industries are using DDS to reduce software lifecycle costs, improve system performance and scalability, and slash the cost of deployed systems, all while reducing program risk.

What:

The DDS Road Shows are free educational seminars that provide a comprehensive look at the DDS standard, including business and technical benefits, case studies, demos and a look under the hood for those who want a more in-depth technical view.

Who:

Open to all interested parties, the events are valuable for technical decision makers, program managers, software architects and developers. The series is sponsored by RTI with participation by strategic partners.

Why:

The increasing adoption of the DDS standard and its proven value to enterprises merit a deeper look by those seeking to reduce software lifecycle and deployment costs or to improve the performance and scalability of their distributed applications.
