Craig Bass Named President of Molina Healthcare of Michigan, Inc.

DETROIT--()--Molina Healthcare, Inc. (NYSE:MOH) announced today that Craig Bass has been named president of its health plan subsidiary, Molina Healthcare of Michigan, Inc. As president, Bass will be responsible for the operational oversight of the Michigan health plan as well as the implementation and execution of various strategic initiatives. Bass has more than 17 years of managed care experience in the healthcare industry including starting and managing Medicaid health plans from initial market assessment to contract award, full implementation, and ongoing management.

Prior to joining Molina, Bass served as a Medicaid regional vice president for Aetna. Before that, he held a number of executive roles with AMERIGROUP, most recently as chief executive officer of AMERIGROUP’s plan in Georgia. Craig also has held leadership roles at Sentara Health Management in Virginia. He holds a B.S.P.H. in Healthcare Administration from Indiana University in Bloomington as well as a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Hospital and Health Care Administration from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
