How AQM Accelerates Payment
An incorrect member ID number is one error often keyed in at registration, which is typically not identified as an error until the claim is denied, causing a significant delay in payment for services rendered. Using AQM, hospital registrars can set up unique rules to state that a given member ID number should include special numbers, letters or formats. When a member ID number is entered that does not match that rule, the record is flagged in real-time for immediate correction, displaying the link to correct that error, which eliminates claims rejections caused by this error and reimbursement delays.
