BARCELONA, Spain--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The mobile operator 3 Italy, UK company Private Planet and Bizdev&Strategy have entered into an agreement to trial the feasibility of personal cloud computing services for corporate internal use and potential subscriber services based on the Private Planet’s personal cloud computer platform.
Like many global businesses, 3 Italy have identified a need to create a multi-platform, secure communication and collaboration applications to enable peer groups and workgroups to increase productivity and business agility. The Private Planet platform employs innovative cloud based services to allow users to create communities, share documents across mobile and desktop devices.
During the same period, 3 Italy will be validating potential Private Planet based services to commercially roll out to their subscriber base. The PrivatePlanet platform has been identified as a likely route to develop a deeper and more valuable relationship with the operators’ customers which is fast taking over as a primary business imperative, having taken over from pure customer acquisition.
