Jamcracker Cloud Service Brokerage Enablement Solution To Be Showcased at Mobile World Congress

Demonstration highlights cloud aggregation and delivery solution in IBM booth

Mobile World Congress 2011

BARCELONA, Spain--()--GSMA Mobile World Congress – Jamcracker, the unified cloud services delivery company, is demonstrating its cloud service brokerage enablement solution with IBM at the GSMA Mobile World Congress taking place February 14-17 in Barcelona, Spain. At the conference, Jamcracker will demonstrate the Jamcracker Platform and IBM CSP2 at IBM’s booth #1C31 in hall 1.0.

Jamcracker and IBM have partnered to offer a complete and unified cloud services delivery stack that enables service providers to become Cloud Service Brokerages (CSBs). The CSB model provides an architectural, business and IT operations model for enabling, delivering and managing different cloud services within a federated and consistent provisioning, billing, security, administration and support framework. This allows service providers to unify the delivery of cloud services, including internally hosted infrastructure as a service (IaaS) clouds aggregated with IaaS, PaaS (platform as a service) and SaaS (software as a service) offerings from external 3rd party providers, and differentiate their networks as a true cloud computing platform.

Jamcracker provides a multi-tiered and multi-tenant cloud delivery solution that supports self-service fulfillment, delegated administration and channel enablement. The unified services delivery and management architecture:

  • Aggregates order management, security and policy management, user and service administration, billing and settlement, usage reporting and auditing, and license management across internally and externally hosted cloud services.
  • Unifies the delivery of Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) or any other network-delivered solution.
  • Provides the flexibility to create best-of-breed bundled offerings to differentiate their core services for reducing churn, increasing service margins and acquiring net new customers.
  • Integrate with new cloud services, whether they are internally or externally hosted, to provide a future-proof means for service providers to continuously innovate to address evolving market opportunities.

"With cloud adoption on the rise and the vast number of cloud services available, service providers need ways to differentiate themselves and bring products to market quickly for their customers," said Steve Crawford, vice president of marketing and business development at Jamcracker. "Our partnership with IBM provides a comprehensive set of services and capabilities that enable service providers to become cloud service brokerages, and we are excited to be demonstrating this solution at Mobile World Congress."
