This agreement expands NewBay’s relationship with LG beyond Android-powered LG smartphones to offer social networking services across a broader range of markets and consumer devices.

NewBay LifeCache SNG is currently the enabling platform for LG’s social-networking client on a range of devices available through a number of leading operators, including Verizon, France Telecom Orange and Rogers. With SNG, LG’s customers can instantly engage with friends and family across multiple sites including Facebook and Twitter.

NewBay LifeCache SNG (http://www.newbay.com/sng.php) provides a solid platform to develop customized digital content services such as social networking clients. LifeCache SNG enables the easy upload and distribution of media and status updates across end-users' social networks. It does this by automatically aggregating, routing and transcoding the media to multiple destinations — significantly reducing data traffic on the network and simplifying the user experience.
