Interstate Hotels & Resorts is Now Managing the Comfort Inn Manhattan Bridge

ARLINGTON, Va.--()--Interstate Hotels & Resorts, the United States’ largest independent hotel management company, today announced that it signed an agreement and is now managing the Comfort Inn Manhattan Bridge in New York City. The hotel, owned by BTW Hotel Holdings, LLC, is the second property Interstate manages for these owners and is Interstate’s eighth property in Manhattan.

“New contracts from existing owners are particularly satisfying, and we look forward to further expanding our relationship with the current ownership,” said Thomas F. Hewitt, Interstate’s chief executive officer. “New York is one of the most dynamic hotel markets in the nation and once again is proving itself a leader as the industry recovers from the economic downturn. We are in a strong position to take advantage of the upswing in this market.”

Located at 61-63 Christie Street on Manhattan’s lower East Side, the 60-room select-service hotel is well located and offers easy access to many of the area’s most popular attractions, including Chinatown, Little Italy, SoHo, the Financial District, and the Ground Zero Memorial. Close to subway and train stations, it also is convenient to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, the Broadway Theater District, Rockefeller Center, the United Nations and Times Square.

The hotel provides a free deluxe Continental breakfast and complimentary high-speed Internet access throughout the property. Guest rooms feature flat-screen TVs, curved shower rods, hair dryers, safes, and cable TV with free HBO. Parking is available at area parking garages and lots, as well as at an independently owned operating garage attached to the hotel.
