PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Littler Mendelson, P.C. (Littler), the nation’s largest employment and labor law firm representing management, today announced the addition of Terrence H. Murphy, a prominent employment attorney, to its Pittsburgh office.
Murphy has a broad range of experience representing employers in every type of labor and employment law, including class and individual discrimination actions, Fair Labor Standards Act collective actions, and labor-management issues. During his career spanning over 30 years, Murphy has counseled employers on issues such as wage and hour matters, human resource practices and policies, equal employment opportunity law, and affirmative action.
Murphy has published articles in the University of Pittsburgh Law Review, the Syracuse Law Review and the Labor Law Journal, among others, has been a co-author of the Employment Law Deskbook for Human Resources Professionals (West Group, 2001 and 2005), and both an Associate and Chapter Editor of Employment Discrimination Law (BNA). He speaks frequently on a wide variety of labor and employment law topics.

He received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, his M.S. from Cornell University, and his B.A. from the University of Rochester. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New York.
