The New York Society of Security Analysts Offers CFA® Exam Prep Courses to Queens College

NEW YORK--()--The New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA), the leading forum for the investment community, has partnered with Professional & Continuing Studies at Queens College, City University of New York (CUNY), to offer Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) Exam Prep courses to Queens College students and alumni starting in Fall 2011.

The Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) Program is a globally recognized standard for measuring portfolio management and investment analysis competence and integrity that is administered by CFA Institute. NYSSA has been providing CFA® review courses for 30 years and is now expanding to offer its courses through an educational institution.

“NYSSA is excited to begin working with Queens College,” said NYSSA President and CEO Amy Geffen. “This partnership allows us to reach more investment professionals and help equip them with the technical knowledge, ethics and standards needed to succeed in their careers.”

NYSSA will provide Queens College with two CFA Exam Prep courses per semester: a seventeen-week weeknight course and a ten-week Sunday course. Queens College students and alumni will attend these courses at a discounted rate and can also take a live or online mock exam.
