ARENAL, Costa Rica--()--The Springs Resort and Spa, fronting Costa Rica’s famous Arenal Volcano, will host the sixth episode of ABC’s The Bachelor. The episode will feature a special group date at the five-star resort’s steamy hot springs, and the property’s riverfront rainforest preserve and mineral pools will be the captivating backdrop for one on one dates with the newest Bachelor Brad Womack – from romantic dinners to horseback rides. Womack, who shocked Bachelor fans by rejecting both of his final bachelorettes in one of the most controversial finales in the series’ history, returns three years later, having undergone a radical personal transformation he feels sure has readied him to make a genuine commitment to a relationship. Tune in to watch Womack on his search for true love on Monday, February 7th (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Since opening in 2008, the world-class Springs Resort and Spa has become an icon in Costa Rica’s luxury resort industry and a major attraction for the Arenal Volcano region. Honored with the TripAdvisor Traveler’s Choice 2011 Award as the #1 Relaxation/Spa Hotel in all of Central and South America, the mountaintop resort is famed for every guest room’s surreal, picture-perfect views of the Arenal Volcano and surrounding countryside, and for its mineral-laden, artesian hot spring pools. The property’s timeless architecture and elegant interior design ideally complement the unique location and rainforest setting.

The show and the property were a “match made in heaven,” according to Lee Banks, the resort’s developer and owner. “As a fan – especially of the series’ cinematography – I was honored when the producers contacted us,” he said. “The show’s crew does a phenomenal job of capturing the ambience of the hotels and regions they feature, reflecting a true spirit of romance and adventure that’s at the heart of our resort experience.” Banks expects the show will have positive impact for all of Costa Rica, as millions of potential travelers see the lush landscapes and array of adventure experiences within this authentic, natural setting. I knew The Springs – and the Arenal region – were perfect partners for the show,” added Banks. “Arenal has the finest, most diverse adventure tours in Costa Rica, and it’s great that viewers will see the very best the country has to offer.”
