In 2010, revenues increased 21 percent, staff size increased 32 percent, and Portico’s client list grew to 40 healthcare companies.

Adding to Portico System’s growth, the company announced the executive appointments of Mark S. Pollock as chief financial officer and Tim Kowalski as chief operating officer. Mark previously served as chief financial officer for Avanceon LP, Vertical Alliance, Inc., and Novasoft Information Technology Corporation. Tim joins Portico with 18 years of previous healthcare payer experience, and he is now responsible for all product management and development, customer delivery, IT infrastructure, and project management operations. Tim previously worked for ICT Group, Independence Blue Cross, Computer Sciences Corporation, and Formation and Gould.
