MSB Chosen by Minnesota Department of Revenue for its Core Values in Collections

MSB Retained from Competitive Pool

AUSTIN, Texas--()--Gila, through its business unit, Municipal Services Bureau (MSB), is pleased to announce it has been chosen from a competitive pool to continue a collections agreement for the State of Minnesota’s Department of Revenue (DOR). MSB has been one of four competing for the contract extension. MSB will stay on board for outsourced collections and payment processing services with only one other vendor.

“We are delighted the State has asked us to continue servicing the Department of Revenue’s delinquent accounts. MSB has proven its ability to recover more revenue for its clients throughout the nation, and we intend to continue generating exceptional results for Minnesota,” said Bruce Cummings, CEO of MSB. MSB collects delinquent court fines, fees and debts for more than 550 governmental entities nationwide.

“MSB’s core values are tightly aligned with the values of the Minnesota DOR. MSB’s consistent quality of service and its ethical collection practices were the contributing factors towards choosing them over the competition,” said Darcie Pierson, Collections Department Supervisor for the DOR. MSB was noted as having the lowest volume of debtor complaints amongst the vendors during the time period.
