Svante Hagman has been appointed President of the NCC Housing business area. He will assume the position on February 1, 2011 and succeed Peter Wågström, who was recently named forthcoming President and CEO of NCC.
Svante Hagman, born in 1961, is a graduate in business administration and has an MBA in international business from Uppsala University. He is currently Head of the Stockholm/Mälardalen Region at NCC Construction Sweden. Svante Hagman has been Regional Manager since 2004, prior to which he was Head of Marketing and Business Development at NCC Construction Sweden. He joined NCC as a trainee in 1987.

Stockholm/Mälardalen is the largest region of four at NCC Construction Sweden.
The NCC Housing business area develops and sells permanent housing, from single-family homes to apartments in apartment blocks. Customers include private individuals who want to purchase their own homes, municipal housing companies, private property owners and financial investors. NCC Housing reported sales of slightly less than SEK 9 billion in 2009 and has approximately 1,000 employees. Svante Hagman will be a member of NCC’s Group Management and report to the CEO.
Peter Wågström takes over as CEO April 13, when he succeeds Olle Ehrlén, who is retiring.
