HICKORY, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CommScope, Inc., a global leader in infrastructure solutions for communications networks, has settled the patent infringement lawsuit that it filed against BoreFlex Industries of Mountain Grove, Missouri. Pursuant to this settlement, BoreFlex has taken a royalty-bearing license to the CommScope patent that was asserted in the lawsuit.
CommScope filed the lawsuit against BoreFlex in September 2010, which asserted BoreFlex’s infringement of U.S. Patent No. 7,279,643, a CommScope patent that covers various improvements to toneable conduit with an embedded wire to carry signal for detection by toning equipment.
