SANTA CLARA, Calif.--()--PFU America, Inc., the U.S.-based subsidiary of PFU Limited and a Ricoh group company, today announced the RICOH Meeting 360 V2 (“Meeting 360”)—a 3-in-1 video conferencing device that instantly turns online meetings into effective interactive experiences and improves engagement and productivity in today’s hybrid work environment. Meeting 360 creates welcoming, inclusive, and lifelike hybrid meetings with its 360-degree panoramic views and omnidirectional speakers and microphones. Advanced speaker detection technology automatically focuses on active speakers, and dynamically changes the screen layout as the conversation continues.

In addition to being ideal for office meeting rooms, Meeting 360 can be used for every type of audience or group discussion. Its lightweight, ergonomic design makes it easily portable and highly versatile—it can be mounted on a tripod for stand-up meetings, on a factory floor, trade show booth, or a myriad of event sites where meetings or presentations take place. Meeting 360 also includes acoustic echo cancellation and noise reduction to ensure that all participants can be heard clearly, even in spaces with background noise.

The new video conferencing device was also designed for stress-free and seamless set-up and operation. The intuitive plug-and-play functionality means Meeting 360 can plug directly into a laptop with no need to configure multiple devices or install additional software.

“Flexible work environments are the norm in today’s post-pandemic world, and we are proud to introduce Meeting 360 to support the evolving needs of businesses and professionals to make them feel connected, included, and productive,” said Daisuke Kutsuwada, President and CEO, PFU America, Inc. “Not only is Meeting 360 easy to use and intuitive, but it also incorporates leading technology like active speaker focus, acoustic echo cancellation, and high image quality to make hybrid work more engaging, effective, and immersive.”

Key benefits and features of Meeting 360 include:

  • 360-degree panoramic image with active speaker focus: 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution 360-degree cameras capture vivid images of meeting attendees to deliver a truly welcoming meeting environment. With advanced audio-visual speech detection, Meeting 360 quickly and accurately identifies and displays those who are actively speaking. The screen image is automatically split and image size of active attendees is optimally adjusted.
  • Crystal clear audio: Meeting 360 captures voices from any direction, thanks to its 3-microphone array with active speaker detection, allowing remote attendees to know who is speaking at all times and hear them with utmost clarity. With 360° audio output, all remote attendees can be heard as clearly as if they were right there in the room.
  • Screen layout switching: Meeting 360 provides a variety of screen layouts, including an optional 360-degree panoramic view. These layouts can be easily switched by touching the button on top of the device or through the meeting application.
  • User-friendly design: Integrates a simple plug-and-play design that can be connected to a PC or Mac via a USB Type-C port. Volume and mute controls can be accessed from either side of the device, allowing on-site attendees to adjust regardless of their position at the table. The lightweight, sleek design is easy-to-handle and highly portable.
