Trivest Promotes Fourteen Professionals Across the Firm

MIAMI--()--Trivest Partners (“Trivest” or the “Firm”) is pleased to announce the following promotions — a recognition of accomplishment that fully exemplifies the depth of talent and experience across the organization.

Mario R. Masrieh has been promoted to Managing Director within the Trivest Recognition Fund. Mario joined Trivest in 2019. Prior to joining Trivest, he was a Vice President at Gridiron Capital, where he partnered with consumer, services and industrial companies. Mario was an Analyst at Morgan Stanley in the global consumer and retail team. He received his B.B.A., Honors Program in Accounting and Finance from Villanova University’s School of Business, magna cum laude, and his M.B.A. from Columbia University.

Arturas Rainys has been promoted to Managing Director within the firm’s non-control strategy, Trivest Growth Investment Fund. Arturas joined Trivest in 2017. Prior to joining Trivest, he was a CFO at Blazent, Inc. and held numerous roles, including Vice President of Finance and Vice President of Corporate Development at DEI Holdings, Inc. where he completed multiple middle market M&A transactions and led various business development initiatives. He received his B.B.A. from Kaunas University of Technology and M.B.A., with honors, from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Asad Dilawari has been promoted to Principal within the Trivest Discovery Fund. Asad joined Trivest in 2022. Prior to joining Trivest, Asad was an Assistant Vice President at CDIB Capital, focused on lower middle market private equity and special situations. Prior to CDIB, he was an Associate at OMERS Private Equity in New York, where he was responsible for screening and executing private equity transactions in business services, industrials, and healthcare. Asad began his career as an Analyst in the Healthcare Groups of Credit Suisse and CIT. Asad received his B.B.A. from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and M.B.A., with honors, from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Greg Irons has been promoted to Principal within the Trivest Mid-Market Fund. Greg joined Trivest in 2021. Prior to joining Trivest, Greg was a Vice President at Geneva Glen Capital, a Chicago-based private equity firm focused on lower middle-market investments in healthcare, business services, consumer, and industrials sectors. Prior to Geneva Glen, he was an Associate at Harbert Private Equity Partners, the private equity strategy of the Harbert family office. He began his career at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey as an Analyst where he advised on M&A and capital raise transactions. Greg received his B.B.A. from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.

Stefan Hortnagl has been promoted to Vice President within the Trivest Growth Investment Fund. Stefan joined Trivest in 2023. Prior to joining Trivest, he was a Vice President at Tensile Capital Management, a San Francisco-based investment firm, where he spent four years evaluating and executing middle-market transactions across a broad range of industries as well as supporting portfolio companies. Stefan started his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan. He received his B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Kiki Jauregui has been promoted to Vice President within the Trivest Mid-Market Fund. Kiki re-joined Trivest in 2021, having previously been with the firm from 2015-2019 as a Director of Business Development. Prior to rejoining Trivest, Kiki was an Associate at Fifth Third Securities in the Financial Sponsors investment banking group. He received his B.S. in finance and accounting information systems from Boston College.

Michael Osgood has been promoted to Vice President within the Trivest Recognition Fund. Michael joined Trivest in 2023. Prior to joining Trivest, Michael was an associate at One Rock Capital Partners where he spent two years evaluating and executing complex transactions across the industrials, consumer and business services sectors as well as handling portfolio company responsibilities. Before his time at One Rock, Michael was an associate at Solamere Capital. He began his career as an investment banking analyst in the Technology, Media and Telecom Group at Credit Suisse after receiving his B.S. in Commerce, with Distinction, from the University of Virginia.

Trace Smith has been promoted to Vice President within the Trivest Discovery Fund. Trace joined Trivest in 2020. Prior to Trivest, he was an Investment Banking Analyst at Houlihan Lokey. Previously, Trace worked at a Morgan Stanley spinout focused on strategic M&A advisory for corporate clients. Before launching his finance career, Trace competed as a ski racer at the Olympics and World Cup levels. He received his B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College.

Justin Spears has been promoted to Vice President within the Business Development organization. Justin joined Trivest in 2019. Based in Charlotte, Justin manages Trivest’s intermediary relationships in the Southeast region. Prior to joining Trivest, he was a Relationship Manager at Fifth Third Bank where he was involved with sourcing, screening and executing middle market senior debt transactions. Justin received his B.S. in Finance from Florida State University.

Rafael Tavares, Jr. has been promoted to Vice President within the Trivest Discovery Fund. Rafa joined Trivest in 2020 and is responsible for the analysis of investment opportunities, identification of strategic acquisition targets and monitoring of existing portfolio companies. Prior to joining Trivest, Rafa was an Analyst at RBC Capital Markets in the Industrial & Diversified Services Group. He received his B.S. in Finance from the University of Florida.

James Silberstein has been promoted to Senior Director, Commercial Excellent within the Trivest Portfolio Support Group. James joined Trivest in 2022 to lead Revenue Optimization for Trivest’s portfolio companies. Prior to joining Trivest, James spent five years focused on revenue growth at Blue Ridge Partners, and before that held sales and marketing roles at national technology providers. He received his B.A. from Duke University.

James Caffrey has been promoted to Senior Associate within the Trivest Mid-Market Fund. James joined Trivest in 2023, previously an investment associate at The Sterling Group where he spent two years evaluating and executing transactions in the industrials sector as well as handling portfolio company responsibilities. Before his time at Sterling, he was an investment banking analyst in the Industrials Group at Wells Fargo. He received his B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia where he was a Jefferson Scholar.

Derrek Drozdyk has been promoted to Senior Associate within the Trivest Discovery Fund. Derrek joined Trivest in 2023. Prior to joining Trivest, Derrek was an Associate at the private equity firm Dubin Clark & Company where he executed lower-middle market buyout transactions as well as portfolio monitoring and support. He began his career as an investment banking analyst at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey after receiving his B.S. in Finance from the University of Florida.

Hannah Olmstead has been promoted to Senior Associate within the Trivest Recognition Fund. Hannah joined Trivest in 2023. Prior to joining Trivest, Hannah was an investment associate at Level 5 Capital Partners where she focused on evaluating and executing transactions across the consumer services sector as well as handling portfolio company responsibilities. Hannah was also an associate in the Private Credit Group at Goldman Sachs, and she began her career as an investment banking analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. She received her B.S. in Finance from the University of Florida.
