EasyTransfer Makes KPMG’s China Fintech 50 List for Third Consecutive Year

SINGAPORE--()--EasyTransfer, a Singapore-based global education fintech company, has been recognized as a leading fintech company in KPMG’s 2024 China Fintech 50 report for the third consecutive year.

The company, which operates in more than 170 countries, has a prominent presence in China where it helps over 380,000 Chinese international students streamline payments to top universities and educational institutions around the world.

KPMG China, a global professional services firm, has developed their China Fintech 50 report every year since 2016 to promote technological innovators in the financial industry. This year’s winners were announced on January 10, 2025, at the 2024 KPMG China Financial Technology Enterprise Double 50 List Release and Award Ceremony, hosted by KPMG China at its Shanghai office and co-organized with the Financial Technology Branch of the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics Alumni Association. The full 2024 China Fintech 50 Report will be released at a later date.

KPMG collected fintech company nominations from China across five broad fintech categories, comprising financial services in science and technology, ecofriendliness, inclusivity, pensions and digital products. Applicants were evaluated by a jury panel of financial professionals according to five further selection criteria: science and data; innovation and change; popularization of financial services; recognition in capital markets; and industry development prospects.

“It’s a great honor for EasyTransfer to be included in KPMG’s China Fintech 50 list for a third year, in recognition of the company’s achievements in the global education-focused fintech sector,” said EasyTransfer Founder and President Tony Gao.

“2024 was a busy year for us as we cemented high profile partnerships with the University of Manchester, Oxford University Press, Newcastle University, the University of Nottingham, Pearson PTE, China CITIC Bank, and numerous payment service providers across Africa, the Middle East, South and South East Asia. We’re looking forward to another great year of opportunities and partnerships in 2025.”
