Norby Williamson Joins Main Street Sports Group as President of Production and Programming

Former ESPN Executive Brings 40+ Years of Experience to FanDuel Sports Network

SOUTHPORT, Conn.--()--Main Street Sports Group (“Main Street Sports” or the “Company”) today announced that it is expanding its senior leadership team with the appointment of Norby Williamson as the Company’s new President of Production and Programming, effective January 13th.

In this role, Mr. Williamson will be responsible for overseeing all live productions for more than 3,000 NBA, NHL and MLB events, as well as original programming for FanDuel Sports Network’s 16 RSNs. His duties will include pre-game, game and post-game strategy and innovation, along with managing operations and content across linear and digital platforms. Mr. Williamson will report to Main Street Sports Group’s Chief Executive Officer, David Preschlack.

About Norby Williamson

Throughout his career, Mr. Williamson’s talent as a producer has been widely recognized with 35 Sports Emmy awards; four Edward R. Murrow Awards for Journalism and Investigative Reporting; and three Peabody Awards for Excellence in storytelling that reflects social issues.

Prior to joining Main Street Sports, Mr. Williamson spent nearly forty years at ESPN where he held various roles of increasing responsibility, culminating in his role as Executive Vice President of Content & Executive Editor. In this role, Mr. Williamson was responsible for editorial direction, strategy, investigative reporting and newsgathering across all platforms, including ESPN, ESPN.com, ESPN APP and ESPN+, and managed the studio and event production for major ESPN and ABC sporting events including the US Open, SportsCenter, College Game Day, among others. Prior to this role, Mr. Williamson served as the Executive Vice President of Programming and Development where he managed the scheduling and strategic placement of programming across all ESPN networks. Earlier in his career at ESPN, Mr. Williamson spent two years as the Executive Vice President of Programming and Acquisition and six years as the Executive Vice President of Production.

Mr. Williamson also serves on the board of directors for V Foundation Cancer Research, Avon Old Farms Preparatory School, Southern Connecticut State University and Elon University School of Communications.
