FOX News Sees Record Month on YouTube Driving Over 400 Million Video Views Throughout November

FOX News Digital Leads News Brands with Multiplatform Minutes and Views, While CNN Delivers Year-Over-Year Declines

NEW YORK--()--FOX News finished November as the top news brand on YouTube securing over 400 million video views during a historic election month, according to Shareablee. As Americans voted in an historical election, FOX News Digital marked its best month since November 2020 leading news brands with multiplatform views and minutes, according to Comscore. For the month, FOX News Digital secured 4.5 billion total multiplatform minutes (up 57% over November 2023), 2.4 billion total multiplatform views (up 43% over last year) and 114.9 million total digital multiplatform unique visitors (up 30% over November 2023).* Comparatively, CNN saw declines compared to November 2023 with both multiplatform views (down 3% vs. November 2023) and multiplatform minutes (down 8% vs. November 2023).   • The FOX News Mobile App reached 7.2 million unique visitors in November, its best month since September 2021.**
  • On YouTube, FOX News saw a record month securing 402 million video views, a 114% year-over-year increase according to Shareablee.**** Notably, FNC’s YouTube channel saw a 171% increase compared to November 2023 in terms of hours spent. November 6th, the day after the election, was the network’s best day ever on YouTube outpacing the closest competitor MSNBC by 156%. FOX News was number one with United States based outlets with Election Day livestream views on YouTube. Peaking at over 1 million concurrent viewers, FOX News’ stream on President-elect Donald Trump’s speech led NBC News, ABC News and all other streams.   • FOX News was once again the most engaged brand on social media in the competitive set in November, with 51 million total social interactions, up 183% from the year prior, according to Emplifi. FOX News drove 15.2 million interactions on Facebook, 31.9 million Instagram interactions and 4.8 million X interactions. FOX Business drove 1.4 million social media interactions during November.
  • FOXBusiness.com drove 162 million multiplatform views in November, surpassing CNN Business for the 32nd straight month and Bloomberg.com for the 43rd consecutive month.
