Announces New Slate of Shared Immersive Experiences

LOS ANGELES--()--Wevr, a creative development and production studio specializing in interactive and spatial experiences, this month marks ten years of innovation in Extended Reality (XR) with the release of a retrospective showcasing their groundbreaking projects. To kick off the next chapter of immersive storytelling, Wevr also announced plans for a new slate of shared immersive experiences to be released in early 2025. The new experiences will combine cutting-edge AI, LED volumes, and XR technology to transport audiences into awe-inspiring narratives like never before.

Celebrating a Decade of Creative Innovation

Wevr has consistently been at the forefront of XR, collaborating with visionary creators and entertainment giants to produce iconic immersive experiences. From the breathtaking underwater world of TheBlu to collaborations on Harry Potter, Gnomes & Goblins, and The Matrix, Wevr has consistently pushed the boundaries of digital interactive design. The ten year retrospective highlights these milestones and highlights key partnerships with innovators across film, games, music, and technology, including Jon Favreau, Reggie Watts, Phil Tippett, John Gaeta, and Paul Allen.

"Watching Wevr develop their skills and expertise over the past ten years, it was clear to me, as well as many others who study the space, that what they are doing is truly special and rare," said Ted Schilowitz, entertainment industry Futurist. "They have continually redefined what's possible in XR, proving and testing the boundaries of what’s possible. Their work serves as a beacon for the future of shared experiences in entertainment."

Pioneering the Future of XR

The next chapter of Wevr’s journey is already underway, with a slate of groundbreaking shared experiences set to launch in 2025. Building on the legacy and insights gained from iconic projects like TheBlu and The Harry Potter Experience, Wevr is poised to redefine immersive entertainment for the next decade.

Partnering with globally recognized IPs, Wevr’s upcoming experiences will merge cutting-edge technology with awe-inspiring creativity. These next-generation location-based adventures will not only immerse participants in richly detailed, interactive worlds but also emphasize shared, social engagement, and continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in immersive entertainment.

"As we celebrate a decade of XR innovation, we're excited to take immersive storytelling to new heights next year," said Neville Spiteri, Co-Founder and CEO, Wevr. "Our new line up is truly mind-blowing and will give audiences around the world an opportunity to participate in this new era of shared experiences."
