NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global Atlantic Financial Group (“Global Atlantic”), a leading insurance provider meeting the retirement and life insurance needs of individuals and institutions, today announced the appointment of Tim Bridgers as Head of Preneed Sales, effective immediately.
In this role, Mr. Bridgers will oversee all aspects of Global Atlantic's preneed sales, including agency and funeral home relationships, as well as strategies for marketing, pricing, and product development. He succeeds Kelly Milberger, who is retiring after a distinguished career in the industry.
Based in Wilmington, North Carolina, Mr. Bridgers joins Global Atlantic from Live Oak Bank, where he spent a decade in various leadership positions, most recently serving as Senior Vice President, Head of Funeral Home and Property Management Lending.

Mr. Bridgers is a Cairn Coin recipient, which represents excellence, empathy and integrity in the death care profession. He is also a former member of the Board of Trustees of Selected Educational Trust. He has an MBA in Corporate Finance and Leadership from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
