Core Spaces Delivers Six New Student Housing Developments in 2024, Totaling 4,549 Beds

Core’s newest deliveries follow strong momentum within its portfolio of award-winning, purpose-built student housing projects

CHICAGO--()--Core Spaces (“Core”), a leading residential real estate developer, owner, and operator, today announced the successful delivery of six new student housing developments across the U.S. totaling 4,549 beds. Core is now welcoming its first residents for the ‘24-’25 school year at its newest developments Hub Bancroft in Berkeley, Calif.; Hub Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio; ōLiv Hetzel and ōLiv Highland in State College, Pa.; ōLiv Madison in Madison, Wisc. and The Pier in Clemson, S.C.

Core delivered six new purpose-built student housing developments prior to August 8, 2024, including:

  • Hub Bancroft (Berkeley, Calif.): 87-unit, 238-bed
  • Hub Cincinnati (Cincinnati, Ohio): 380-unit, 1,112-bed
  • ōLiv Hetzel (State College, Pa.): 135-unit, 582-bed
  • ōLiv Highland (State College, Pa.): 158-unit, 604-bed
  • ōLiv Madison (Madison, Wis.): 386-unit, 1,101-bed
  • The Pier (Clemson, S.C.): 207-unit, 914-bed

These deliveries follow strong activity within Core’s student housing portfolio this year. Recently, the company announced continued expansion across the U.S. in key markets including Knoxville, Tenn. with a new 800-bed student housing project; three new projects in Madison, Wisc. totaling 4,000 beds; a new 665-unit, 2,195-bed development in Raleigh, N.C.; 3,000 new beds in Tampa, Fla.; and the closing of a 16-story, 202-unit and 639-bed student housing project in Ann Arbor, Mich.
