TRENTON, N.J.--()--On Saturday, August 24th, at Trenton Thunder Ballpark, That Funny Agency proudly presents ‘LAUGH MY PANCRE-ASS OFF’, an inaugural charity event to raise awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer research via three beneficiaries: Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN), Andy Schram Foundation, and Grand Slam We Care Foundation. With an impressive lineup of comedians and musicians joining forces, we hope you can join us for a night of hilarity and hope.

‘LAUGH MY PANCRE-ASS OFF’ is produced and co-chaired by Jared Miller, Founder and CEO of That Funny Agency, and Jon Bodnar, GM of the Trenton Thunder Minor League Baseball Team. Co-Chairs also include Bruce Platt and Ryan Gordon, who each have deep ties with PanCAN and Andy Schram Foundation, respectively. Each co-chair has had a beloved person die from Pancreatic Cancer.

“Right now, we have a chance to create something special – ‘LAUGH MY PANCRE-ASS OFF’ is happening,” said Miller. “We’re so thankful to the great talent we’ve assembled, and to all of the sponsors for being a part of this event, which has been over 10 years in the making.”

The talent assembled for LAUGH MY PANCRE-ASS OFF is headlined by host and standup comedian John Ziegler, a pancreatic cancer survivor. The comedy lineup also includes: Judy Gold (HBO, Comedy Central), Mike Vecchione (The Tonight Show, Joe Rogan Experience), Erin Jackson (Late Night with Seth Meyers, Conan), Ryan Reiss (Late Night with Seth Meyers), Marla Schultz (Comics Unleashed, Sirius XM), TaTa Sherise (NYCF, Drew Barrymore Show), and Peggy O’Leary (UCB, Just For Laughs). Live music will be performed by Annie Minogue Band and special guest Justin Guarini (American Idol, Wicked on Broadway).

“Laughter is huge, it helped me get through this,” said Ziegler, regarding his bout with pancreatic cancer. “Even my surgeon told me ‘your attitude is going to go a long way.’ It really matters to be positive. People ask me all the time, ‘How did you survive, what do you think it was?’. It’s a little bit of luck, but I think my attitude had a lot to do with it. I know when I was diagnosed, I heard pancreatic cancer and thought it was a death sentence — and it’s not. It’s not a good thing, I don’t wish it on anybody, but you can beat this. I’m living proof.”

‘LAUGH MY PANCRE-ASS OFF’ will kick off at 7pm ET (doors at 6 pm) and run through 11 pm on August 24th, at Trenton Thunder Ballpark. Tickets start at $30 for general admission, with preferred seating for $60, reserved (front center) seating for $100, and VIP (limited quantity) seating for $150. Tickets can be purchased at the event website, where non-attendees can also make a donation.
