COLUMBIA CITY, Ind.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Schrader Real Estate and Auction Company will present Farmers Update sessions in Venice, Florida; Lancaster, Wisconsin; and Fort Wayne, Indiana. The sessions are organized to provide owners and family farmers with up-to-date information on demand for farmland and grains.
“Some were concerned that rising interest rates would negatively impact farmland prices in 2023, but there has been enough cash to keep farmland prices stable in a market that continues to be driven by operating farmers,” said R.D. Schrader, President of the auction company. “Those who attend the Update sessions will gain an important perspective, whether they are actively buying and selling or not. All sessions will feature a description of factors affecting the market and offering guidance to investors, farmers and landowners.”
“Speakers will address different aspects of the current marketplace, including the economic backdrop to the sale of farmland,” he added.
There is no charge for the Update sessions, but those wishing to attend should make a reservation by calling 800-451-2709.
The next Update session will be held Thursday, February 15 in at Plantation Golf and Country Club, Venice, Florida, at 500 Rockley Boulevard. A third will at 11:30 a.m Wednesday, Feb. 21, at Vesperman Farms, 8149 Stage Road, Lancaster, Wisconsin.
