COVINGTON, La.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Home Bank, Hancock Whitney Bank, First American Bank and Trust, First Bank and Trust, IBERIABANK and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) will award $32,000 in Partnership Grant Program (PGP) funds to Northshore Housing Initiative, which provides programs to benefit low- to moderate-income homebuyers in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana. The grant will be used for organizational capacity building.
The media is encouraged to join local dignitaries and bank representatives at a check presentation at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 9, 2019, at Northshore Community Foundation at 807 North Columbia Street in Covington.
The structure of the PGP enables FHLB Dallas member institutions to contribute $500 to $4,000 to a community-based organization (CBO), which FHLB Dallas matches at a 3:1 ratio.
