OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best Senior Managing Director Andrea Keenan will participate in a panel discussion at InsurTech North, which will take place at the Beanfield Centre in Toronto, Ontario, on May 23-24, 2019.
The event, hosted by Market Security Analysis & Research Inc., will focus on the impact of innovation and emerging technologies on the insurance industry. Participants from major insurance industry segments, along with technology entrepreneurs and venture capitalists, will discuss the growing alignment between emerging technologies and insurance, including looks at the insurer-insurtech relationship and insurtech investing.
Keenan will take part in a panel discussion, titled, “Barbarians at the Gate,” which will explore the next generation of insurance competition: major technology-driven companies, such as Amazon or Google, which have unmatched consumer reach in other industries and potentially can upend insurance distribution with next-level data analytics. The panel takes place on May 24, at 2:30 pm (EDT). As head of industry relations for AM Best, Keenan is responsible for AM Best’s external strategic relationships and communications within the insurance and financial services industries throughout the Americas.
