TAIPEI, Taiwan--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Top executives at American Lending Center (ALC) - a leading EB-5 regional center and subsidiary of Regional Centers Holding Group - presented at the 2018 International Fair for Immigration, Education, and Investment on October 27 and 28. The sole EB-5 program approved by the Taiwan Immigration Consultants Association (TICA) and the National Immigration Agency of the Taiwan government at the conference, ALC highlighted its unique investment approach taking advantage of the senior loan structure in US government-backed loan programs.
“The senior loan approach our company takes, through the Small Business Administration 504 program or other government sponsored loan programs, protects our investors' capital and supports the immigration petitions far better than any other structural financing options,” stated ALC Chief Executive Officer John Shen, the conference's opening speaker. “This is also the primary reason ALC has achieved a 100% success rate over all of its 70+ projects across 19 states since 2010.”
The fair, sponsored by TICA and the Chinese Immigration Quality Assurance Association (CIQAA), is the largest and most influential immigration conference in Taiwan. Though introduced in the 1990's, the EB-5 program is only now gaining momentum in the country due to minimal waiting periods for Taiwanese investors and their family members to obtain conditional green cards upon approval. In the context of Chinese EB-5 visa retrogression issues, this has created a significant advantage for the capital raise in Taiwan.
ALC is currently the largest non-bank SBA 504 lending institution, having successfully provided over 350 million dollars to American ventures and funded over 70 SBA 504 projects with parent company RCH. The company opened its Taipei office in April 2018 after one of its unique EB-5 projects received a full approval by TICA and the Taiwan government.
