Radius Accepted as Participant in the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework

Enhances Radius’ status as an industry leader in data protection controls

BOSTON--()--Global growth expert Radius has been accepted by the US Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration (ITA) as an active participant in the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework. The Framework gives companies a means to comply with data protection requirements when transferring personal data from the EU to the US.

The ITA’s acceptance of Radius’ self-certification bolsters the company’s already impressive data security protections. These include policies and procedures that adhere not only to the Privacy Shield, but to the UK’s strict Data Protection Act. Radius applies these controls across all its global operations, even if some jurisdictions don’t require them.

Radius has also developed and implemented a plan to make the company fully compliant with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) well ahead of the May 25, 2018 implementation deadline.

“We’re in the business of helping other companies expand and operate across borders, and nothing is more important to us than making sure our clients’ data is secure,” says Jody Fullman, chief information officer at Radius. “We’re delighted with the International Trade Administration’s acceptance since it so clearly reflects the investments we have made and the value we place on protecting our clients’ sensitive information.”
