Romeo Power Technology, the energy storage technology company founded by top engineers and designers from SpaceX, Tesla, Amazon and Samsung, has completed its fully-automated 113,000 square-foot lithium-ion battery pack manufacturing facility in Vernon near downtown Los Angeles, and will inaugurate the new facility with a ribbon cutting and factory tours on Tuesday, November 14. |

Romeo is leading the charge in lithium-ion battery storage technology for electric vehicles (EVs), stationary storage and now personal power, with the recent announcement of its Saber powerbank. The company designs, engineers, tests and produces its EV and stationary lithium-ion battery packs on-site, and the facility features the only research, development and testing lab on the West Coast. |

The fully-automated factory is slated to manufacture 1 gigawatt hour by end of year and will quadruple its capacity in 2018 to 4 gigawatt hours. | ||
Romeo executives, employees and elected officials will be in attendance to celebrate the completion of the factory and the creation of more than 200 new California jobs. | ||
