BEDFORD, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Segway Inc. (Segway), the world’s leading provider of electric personal transportation and a wholly owned subsidiary of Ninebot Limited (Ninebot), announced today that it is expanding its consumer personal transportation line with the release of two new electric KickScooters—the Ninebot KickScooter by Segway (ES1) and Ninebot KickScooter by Segway (ES2), as well as two new entries to its self-balancing product portfolio, the Segway miniLITE and Segway miniPLUS.
“Each KickScooter leverages a smartphone app and delivers other convenient features that meet the riding preferences of today’s savvy consumers in distinct target markets,” said Brian Buccella, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Segway. “We’re confident response to our electric KickScooters will be excellent.”
“The miniPLUS brings something new to the ever-expanding drone market with the ability turn your miniPLUS into a remotely controlled ground drone. You can have the miniPLUS follow you and even program it to follow a specific path, without a rider on board,” said Buccella. “The miniLITE fills a gap in the marketplace by being engineered specifically for younger riders. Children as young as six years old can ride and master this unique rideable.”

The miniPLUS charges from 0% to full in just
4 hours, travels up to 22 miles (35 km*) on a single charge, moves at a
clip of up to 12.5 mph (20 km/h) and can handle slopes of up to 15º.

ensures a parent’s peace of mind with a comprehensive riding tutorial
and the ability to limit speed. The app also includes fun features like
the ability to remote-control the unit, customize light colors and more.
Ninebot KickScooter (ES1)
The ES1 scooter has a maximum
speed of 12 mph (20 km/h) with a range of approximately 15 miles* (25
