Northern Trust Asset Management Selects Eight Firms for Emerging Broker Program

CHICAGO--()--Northern Trust Asset Management has selected eight firms owned by minorities, women and disabled veterans for its list of equity and fixed income broker-dealers.

The firms, which were selected for one or more asset classes, based on a number of quantitative and qualitative selection criteria, including execution capabilities, technology platforms and performance, are:

  • Cabrera Capital Markets, LLC
  • Drexel Hamilton
  • Loop Capital Markets
  • Mischler Financial Group
  • Penserra Securities LLC
  • Samuel A. Ramirez & Co., Inc.
  • Siebert Cisneros Shank & Co. LLC
  • Williams Capital Group

The firms were selected by Northern Trust executives from a group of 27 broker-dealers that responded to a request for information. This is the fourth time that Northern Trust has gone through this process since its inception in 2007.
