Time Inc.'s digital trajectory has changed significantly in the past year as it has increased cooperation, coordination and sharing among sites; prioritized and driven video growth; and demonstrated an unrivaled ability to create new brands like WELL DONE, THE PRETTY, TIMEHEALTH and COINAGE by using the full power of the company’s digital scale, which now totals over 130 million monthly unique visitors, per comScore. In late 2016, Time Inc. announced the formation of digital desks dedicated to topics ranging from celebrity and beauty to sports and technology.
As one of the first editors to join Bustle in 2013, Alvin played a pivotal role in growing the site's lifestyle coverage and contributed to the brand's success as a leading independent women's website. She is also recognized for her regular appearances on a variety of television and video outlets, addressing a wide array of topics—from public policy to the gender wage gap to Kim Kardashian. As Bustle’s Executive Editor and Director of Brand Initiatives, she oversaw features, content packages, tentpoles and special initiatives across the brand’s verticals.
