HUDSON, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Retail’s biggest and most creative season is just around the corner, and JOANN is looking to hire thousands of seasonal employees for its 869 stores across the United States. To continue offering optimal customer service, product assistance and project advice, JOANN is hiring 12,000 passionate team members to join their team across the nation for the holiday season.
“We say that ‘Handmade is Heartfelt’ and this is never truer than during the holiday season, as many customers make gifts for loved ones and those in need,” said Janet Duliga, Senior Vice President, Human Resources, JOANN. “Our team members love helping our customers find the right supplies, offer helpful advice and get them checked out efficiently. The holidays are extremely busy, so having the right staff to make our customer’s experience easier is critical. To make sure we achieve that goal, we’re adding two national hiring days in October, so we can effectively hire and onboard new Team Members by November.”
On October 12th and 13th, anyone who has a passion for crafting and helping others can visit their local JOANN store during normal business hours for a same-day interview. Candidates are encouraged to bring their resumes with them, as conditional offers may be made on the spot. Applications will be accepted for those ages 16 and over, with a work permit as needed.
To make shopping easier, customers can also plan to utilize JOANN’s Buy Online, Pick up In Store service, which allows users to shop on joann.com, and retrieve their items same-day at any local store. Seasonal Team Members will help to pull the merchandise to accommodate those orders and expedite the shopping experience.
