AMELIA, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American Modern Insurance Group is celebrating a newly renovated Customer Service Operations floor at its Amelia, Ohio campus. The $1.8 million upgrade encompasses 30,385 feet of space, designed with sustainability and employee wellness in mind.
The project, which began in April, features sit to stand workstations, circadian lighting, daylight and views, plus a variety of support areas that include an outdoor patio and a designated resource zone for associates to focus on career development and academic advancement.
This combination of both communal and private spaces better enables the American Modern team to perform various types of work, while keeping a competitive edge and increasing workplace happiness.

“It was our priority to design a more vibrant and collaborative workspace,” said Dara Baldridge, designer for KZF Design, the architecture firm behind the renovation. The re-design takes inspiration from American Modern's culture of innovation and customer experience transformation strategy.
The Customer Service division consists of nearly 200 employees and handles an average of 4,500 calls per day from policyholders and agents across the country.
The ribbon cutting will take place on September 27, and customer service representatives can begin enjoying their new quarters on October 2. Tony Kuczinski, President & CEO of Munich Re North America and Andreas Kleiner, President & CEO of American Modern will be in attendance.
