Walmart is your only hope to #BeJediReady for the release of December’s highly anticipated Star Wars: The Last Jedi © & TM Lucasfilm Ltd. In addition to new and exclusive Star Wars merchandise available at 12:01 a.m. Friday, Sept. 1, Walmart will be the only retailer in the galaxy hosting #BeJediReady events in Walmart stores in select cities from Friday through Sunday (Sept. 1 to Sept. 3) during Force Friday II weekend.

The family-friendly #BeJediReady events will include both parking lot and in-store events and will take place in 10 cities—Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Northwest Arkansas, Orlando, San Antonio, San Jose, and Seattle. They will feature:
- Jedi training games with lightsabers
- Photo opportunity for customers to capture their Jedi training
- Tent with Star Wars themed games and activities for children
- In-store toy demos with new exclusive product
- Get your photo taken with Star Wars characters in select stores
- Free EA Star Wars: Battlefront II video game posters while supplies last
- Topps Galactic Connexions Trading Discs giveaways
Fans are also invited to aid the Resistance by taking part in an AR treasure hunt for data chips holding information about key personnel. More than 4,000 Walmart stores will have Star Wars standees from Sept. 1 to Sept. 3 that will allow customers to unlock life-size AR characters using the Star Wars app on their phones, with new characters available each day.
