Radiology Associates, PA Partners with Mach7 Technologies, Inc. to Power their Enterprise Imaging Strategy

BURLINGTON, Vt.--()--Mach7 Technologies, Inc. announced today a contract with Radiology Associates, PA, (RAPA) of Little Rock, Arkansas. RAPA has served the Arkansas community for nearly 100 years, making it one of the oldest continuously operating medical practices in the US. Supporting 19 hospitals and more than 50 clinics throughout south, central and northwest Arkansas, RAPA performs over 800,000 exams a year. Looking to expand their services, RAPA wanted a solution that could scale to enable growth, fit into their existing infrastructure and provide a consistent radiologist experience. Mach7 and Client Outlook partnered to deliver a best-of-breed solution that exceeded RAPA’s requirements.

RAPA selected Mach7 and Client Outlook after a thorough vetting process of 20 different enterprise imaging and PACS vendors. The unique architecture and scalability of both Mach7 Enterprise Imaging Platform and Client Outlook eUnity zero footprint image viewing platform provided the foundation for a tightly integrated solution that set it apart from the competition. Jeff Wieler, RAPA’s Chief Information Officer stated, “In Arkansas, connectivity with our rural hospitals can be a challenge. We needed something super responsive and efficient. The Mach7 and Client Outlook combination offered us a solution like a swiss army knife with the agility and power to bring huge value to our organization.”

Tight integration between the Mach7 and eUnity platforms ensures a consistent user experience for RAPA’s radiologists. Dr. Michael Flick, Radiologist and board representative for the IT committee, noted “We have 35 radiologists distributed throughout the state and we can now give them the ability to read wherever they are, with a similar experience as reading at the hospital. This will satisfy our users as well as improve our ability to serve Arkansas’ patient population.”

Mach7 together with eUnity establish an important framework upon which RAPA will build and grow their enterprise imaging strategy. The solution enables flexible end-to-end imaging workflow to support RAPA’s growing healthcare ecosystem and deliver value to their large and expanding patient population. Wieler added “Our collaboration with Mach7 and Client Outlook delivers a solution that is stronger than the sum of its parts. It’s a bridge to our future that will advance healthcare in Arkansas and empower us to provide the very best care to our patients.”
