NAPA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BV Coastal Estates is partnering with Oceana, the world’s largest ocean conservation organization, by donating $1 for every bottle of wine sold over the next two years to help restore and protect the world’s oceans.
Each back label of the popular BV Coastal red and white wines calls out the program and invites consumers to learn more about Oceana’s efforts. The campaign began July 1, 2017 and runs for two years, with a total contribution of up to $100,000 during that time period, up to $50,000 each year. With this pledge, BV Coastal adds to an ongoing commitment to sustainability.
Support for the program includes a broad array of activation tools including case cards, shelf-talkers, bottle necker sleeves and table tents featuring beautiful images of the California coastline and Pacific Ocean. Oceana’s logo and campaign theme are prominently displayed.
BV Coastal’s seven varietal wines feature a dramatic trade dress with different hand drawn illustrations with serene coastal scenes. The new labels were inspired by the brand’s California heritage, including sourcing from cooler California coastal vineyards.
Oceana, founded in 2001, is the largest advocacy organization focused solely on ocean conservation. Oceana is rebuilding abundant, biodiverse oceans by winning science-based policies in key fishing countries around the world.
