At #BlogHer17, a leading conference for women content creators and entrepreneurs produced by SheKnows Media, Vagisil CEO Keech Combe Shetty will open the June 24th lunchtime keynote with a speech on empowering women and girls through information and openness about their bodies and wellbeing.

In addition to sponsoring #BlogHer17, Vagisil is collaborating with HelloFlo, SheKnows Media’s Webby Award-winning flagship women’s health platform, to produce two Wine + Gyn events. The Wine + Gyn event series provides a forum to share stories and have no-holds-barred conversation about issues impacting women’s health, bodies and wellbeing throughout all life stages.

On May 9, 2017, Vagisil sponsored a Wine + Gyn event at La Sirena in New York focused on postpartum and featuring Combe Shetty on a panel of experts. As part of the event, SheKnows Media conducted proprietary research on the topic, surveying nearly 800 women about their lives after giving birth. Topline results from the new “Life After Baby” survey found that:

  • 65% of new moms had sex within eight weeks of giving birth; 69% used lubrication.
  • 53% did not feel well prepared for life after baby
  • 81% are surprised at how confident they became after having a child

Vagisil will also sponsor a Wine + Gyn event in Fall 2017 that will focus on the physical and mental issues associated with perimenopause, the time during which women make the natural transition to menopause. Details about the event, including featured speakers and accompanying research, will be revealed at a future date. In addition, SheKnows Media will produce two custom branded videos to accompany both Vagisil-sponsored Wine + Gyn events, which will be shared on its SheKnows.com site and social channels.
