One Times Square, Home of the NYE Ball Drop and Most Valuable Signage in the World, Receives Major Ad Upgrade

One Times Square Debuts 60’-tall Digital Screen; Most Successful Multi-Advertiser Pre-Sold Ad Launch in History of Iconic Building

NEW YORK--()--One Times Square, among the most iconic locations in the world, today announces the launch of a massive new digital display measuring 60’ high by 36’ wide on the highly visible north façade of the tower.

With commitments from multiple advertisers helping surpass a record pace for pre-sales, owner Jamestown, L.P. and partners Sherwood and New Tradition Media consider the new display one of the most successful ad platforms to-date at One Times Square.

“One Times Square is in the heart of New York City’s most iconic neighborhood,” said Evan Richheimer of New Tradition. “There is not a better location on Earth for brands to maximize their impact through advertising, and this state-of-the-art digital display gives them a world-class platform on which to do that.”

This new platform will display multiple advertisements in timed increments. It replaces the single-display small-screen models that occupied the space previously. The new LED screen features cutting-edge technology, including the ability to show fully rendered animations, videos, still images, and interactive content.

As the focal point of Times Square, this new display will offer high-resolution exposure to the thousands of pedestrians and vehicular passing through the heart of Times Square every day and while offering a backdrop to the newly designed pedestrian plazas. With a daily effective circulation of 1.6MM, One Times Square offers brands unrivaled opportunities to reach their audience. The strategic placement will allow for maximum visibility for vehicular traffic, pedestrians along with unmatched TV, film, print and social media exposure.
