INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Zotec Partners (Zotec), a leading provider of revenue cycle management (RCM) services for emergency department groups, announces a renewed revenue cycle and practice management agreement with Emergi-Trust, Inc. (ETI), an Emergency Medicine practice in Franklin, Tennessee. In the extended agreement, Zotec will continue to provide ETI with a full array of services using its proprietary RCM technology and reporting tools, including an expert team of practice management professionals to manage the group’s business and keep it abreast of the latest industry policies and regulations impacting emergency medicine.
The physicians of ETI have been providing emergency medical care to the residents of Williamson County and the surrounding area for more than 25 years. Currently its professional staff consists of 9 emergency physicians and 4 mid-level providers (P.A.’s and F.N.P.’s) and treats approximately 34,000 patients annually in Williamson Medical Center’s Emergency Department. The group also provides oversight and medical direction to Williamson Medical Center EMS as well as fire/rescue services in the county.
ETI’s President, Steven Ragle, MD, notes satisfaction with Zotec since the inception of the partnership in 2003. “For more than a decade, we’ve worked with an exceptional team of people that has consistently delivered both medical billing processes and practice management strategies to help our group succeed. Because of this, we’ve been able to maintain a great relationship with our hospital partners while reducing the cost of collections, minimizing compliance risks, and capturing every charge to ensure accurate and fast payment for medical encounters,” he says.
“Zotec is proud to continue our relationship with ETI, and credit is due to our revenue cycle and practice management experts for their ongoing dedication to ETI’s emergency medicine business,” notes Zotec’s Founder and CEO, T. Scott Law. Law goes on to say that Zotec’s understanding of emergency medicine policy, and how it pertains to a practice’s success, has been key in the relationship with ETI. “Our experts strive to help emergency department practices be as efficient and financially successful as possible, which requires constant and persistent vigilance over all practice metrics. Monitoring the acuity, clinical, and payer mixes of emergency department practices is imperative, because minor regulatory shifts can have substantial impacts,” he adds.
