Air Techniques, Inc., a leading innovator and manufacturer of dental equipment, has joined hands with US Energy Recovery to pledge $5,100 to Mercy Ships.

A global charity, Mercy Ships operates a fleet of hospital ships that provide hope and heeling in developing nations. Founded in 1978 by Don Stephens, Mercy Ships leads over 1,000 professional volunteers from 45 nations with offices in 16 countries. Charitable donations are put to use with 77.91% of donations being used to support the ship and field programmatic operations, 13.81% supporting fundraising efforts and 8.29% going to general and administrative costs.

Air Techniques presented the donation to Mercy Ships representative, Ms. Jackie Abbott on Friday, May 12 at the Air Technique headquarters in Melville, NY. US Energy Recovery representative Mr. Bill Lee was also on site to present the donation of $5,173 to Mercy Ships.
