GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Northern Jet Management, a corporate aviation management company, announced that today they are an approved Air Charter Safety Foundation (ACSF) Industry Audit Standard (IAS) Registered Operator. Northern Jet Management is currently one of only sixteen registered operators achieving these high standards of safety and compliance.
“Meeting the high standards of the ACSF audit adds an exclamation point to the commitment to safety in this organization,” said Steve Cok, Director of Operations at Northern Jet Management. “The team involved in this is doing a tremendous job, continuing to improve our safety culture and implement industry best practices and procedures across all areas of the company.”
According to the ACSF, the IAS is the only audit program for Part 135 and 91K operators that comprehensively evaluates an operator’s regulatory compliance and safety management system against Federal Aviation Association and International Civil Aviation Organization standards. Operators are able to complete one comprehensive audit that is valid for 24 months.
In addition to achieving the IAS Registered Operator status, Northern Jet Management was also awarded the Platinum Rated Charter Operator level of Aviation Research Group International (ARGUS), in compliance with Part 135. Attaining this standard, Northern Jet Management demonstrates their ability to assess their operational safety and quality standards, which are similar to many of the industry’s best practices.
