MCPHERSON, Kan.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Evident LLC and TruBridge LLC, subsidiaries of CPSI (NASDAQ:CPSI) and leading providers of healthcare solutions and services, today announced that McPherson Hospital in McPherson, Kansas, has selected the Evident Electronic Health Records (EHR) solution, Thrive, and the TruBridge revenue cycle solution, Accounts Receivable Management Service (ARMS), for its facility. McPherson Hospital is a 49-bed acute care facility that serves McPherson and the surrounding area.
The ability to quickly and easily integrate the patient and business office records for both hospital and clinic was a key factor in the team’s decision at McPherson. Clinton Terry, director of information systems at McPherson Hospital, said, “Having shared, secure access to patient records across departments and clinics is important to us, especially when the result is a more efficient process for the patient.”
Terry explained that being able to work with one partner who can meet their business needs for both the EHR and business office requirements was a positive aspect. Additionally, the responsiveness and flexibility in which Evident can meet their unique needs made the decision easier. “The people and products at Evident were just what we were looking for at just the right time for us,” Terry commented. “As a small hospital, we appreciate that they are able to customize systems and processes that fit our needs.”
Boyd Douglas, president and chief executive officer of CPSI, the parent company of Evident, said, “Our partnership with McPherson Hospital will start with the implementation of our comprehensive set of Thrive EHR solutions. We will also implement our revenue cycle management solution from our TruBridge subsidiary that will help maximize reimbursement and increase productivity. We are deeply committed to community healthcare and look forward to supporting McPherson Hospital’s leaders and providers in their effort to improve the health and vitality of the local community.”
