BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kyruus, a leader in provider search and scheduling solutions for health systems, today announced that Banner Health, one of the largest nonprofit health systems in the U.S., has selected the company’s patient access and provider management solutions to enhance the patient experience across its six-state operations. The Arizona-based system will utilize the KyruusOne provider data management platform, along with the ProviderMatch for Access Centers and ProviderMatch for Consumers applications, to optimize patient-provider matching across multiple entry points to the health system.
With an extensive network of over 20,000 providers, Banner needed a provider data management solution that would allow it to build and maintain comprehensive, accurate provider profiles for all providers. KyruusOne will enable the health system to not only create a single point of access to this data, but also engage providers effectively to drive accuracy. Providers will use Kyruus’ web-based profile management tool and leverage the Kyruus Clinical Library, a proprietary taxonomy with more than 14,000 clinical terms and 400 specialties, to configure clinical scopes of practice.
“Engaging providers in the management of their profiles is critical for data accuracy,” said Bryce Carder, Vice President, IT Business Services at Banner Health. “Kyruus’ provider data management platform not only integrates data from various sources through automated feeds, but also includes user-friendly tools for providers and administrators, supporting both data integrity and governance.”
KyruusOne forms the foundation for accurate patient-provider matching by powering the ProviderMatch applications with detailed and reliable provider data. Banner will deploy both ProviderMatch for Access Centers in its call centers and ProviderMatch for Consumers across multiple health system and ACO websites, ensuring consistency in provider information across channels. ProviderMatch’s Smart Search capabilities will enable agents and consumers alike to identify providers who best match a patient's clinical needs, logistical requirements, and personal preferences, a fundamental part of the overall patient experience. Banner will also utilize Kyruus’ online scheduling capabilities to maximize patient convenience and drive demand conversion.
“At Banner Health, we’re committed to not only offering high-quality care, but also a great experience around accessing that care,” said Dave Kriesand, Vice President of the Consumer Experience Center at Banner Health. “Kyruus’ comprehensive solution will enable us to give patients rich, reliable information about our providers—regardless of whether they look online or speak to a customer service representative—and book conveniently once they find a match.”
“Banner Health’s challenges integrating and maintaining reliable provider data are ones we hear from health systems across the country,” said Graham Gardner, CEO at Kyruus. “We’re looking forward to helping the Banner team put a new provider data management foundation in place and helping patients find the right providers across the health system’s expansive network.”
