Tacos 4 Life Empowers Like-Minded Entrepreneurs to Help End Childhood Hunger

Tacos 4 Life announces the opportunity to franchise their unique business model in select markets.

CONWAY, Ark.--()--Tacos 4 Life Grill, a handful of growing, fast casual taco restaurants that fight childhood hunger, has announced the opportunity to franchise in select Southeast markets. Franchises opportunities are now available in Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama and Tennessee.

“We are looking for franchisees who want to develop a great brand, but becoming a Tacos 4 Life franchisee is more than being a great restaurant owner,” said co-founder Ashton Samuelson who created the company with her husband Austin. “Working with us means you are passionate about our mission to end childhood hunger. We are a purpose-driven brand, and we will never lose sight of why we come to work every day.”

Tacos 4 Life is more than just a taco restaurant. For every taco, quesadilla, salad or rice bowl purchased, the restaurant donates 22 cents to Feed My Starving Children, a nonprofit organization committed to ending childhood starvation. Since opening the first Tacos 4 Life location in June of 2014, the restaurants have donated more than 2.5 million meals.

“The decision to expand our franchise program was an easy one. Empowering like-minded business people who have a heart for the hungry will allow us to feed more children and save more lives faster than we can do with a corporate ownership model,” said Chief Brand Officer, Donnie Robertson. “There is a shocking number of children who die each day from hunger. It’s very sad and completely preventable. The power of one idea is changing millions of lives.”

About Tacos 4 Life

The first Tacos 4 Life Grill opened in Conway, Arkansas, on June 9th, 2014, but this is not where the story begins.

Long before Tacos 4 Life opened its doors, Austin and Ashton Samuelson had a heart for the hungry. In 2009, they learned that over 18,000 children were dying worldwide each day due to starvation and hunger related causes. What surprised them is that the problem was completely preventable. Starvation is nothing more than a distribution problem. This simple fact moved them so much that they knew they could, and should, do something to help solve this problem. Thus, Tacos 4 Life was born.

The Samuelsons believe that God is up to something big and can use Tacos 4 Life, which exists to serve amazing food and to empower communities to fight to end world hunger, to help solve the world’s most solvable problem. Tacos 4 Life is a highly-differentiated restaurant that offers chef-inspired, award winning menu items served in a unique environment. Our philosophy is based on delivering an unforgettable experience . . . great food, genuine service, and a mission focus that changes the world with every meal.
