Paso Robles Wine Festival Early Bird & Locals Discounts Expire March 15

Winemaker Dinners and Seminar Details Announced

PASO ROBLES, Calif.--()--The only discounts available to the 35th Annual Paso Robles Wine Festival expire on Wednesday, March 15. The Paso Robles Wine Festival is the marquee wine festival for the Paso Robles wine region, with four combined events and more than 130 individual events at the area wineries. The Early Bird Discount offers a $10 savings to three ticket options for the Paso Robles Wine Festival set to take place May 19-20, 2017. Locals save $20 on the Grand Tasting general admission ticket.

The RESERVE Event held Friday, May 19, from 4 – 6:30 p.m. is an intimate tasting where wineries offer two of their best wines within four categories: Library, Reserve, White/Rosé, and Futures. Attendees enjoy fare from local restaurants as the perfect complement to the wines. Combo RESERVE tickets are $135 Early Bird pricing ($145 after March 15), which provide the festival goer access to RESERVE on Friday, May 19, and early entry to the Grand Tasting on Saturday, May 20.

The Paso Robles Wine Festival Grand Tasting features more than 70 wineries sharing their wines in the idyllic setting of the Paso Robles Downtown City Park. New elements to the festival include food samples and local artisan merchants, as well as bands at both ends of the park. Early entry ticket holders access the park at 12 p.m. for $80 ($90 after March 15). A limited amount of early entry tickets are available, ensuring a more exclusive experience. The Festival ticket – $60 Early Bird ($70 after March 15) – allows entry at 1 p.m. to the conclusion of the event at 4 p.m.

Just confirmed are the two restaurants for the Thursday, May 18, Winemaker Dinners, including Thomas Hill Organics restaurant and The Hatch Rotisserie and Bar. These dinners feature up to four different winemakers pouring their wines to a limited seating audience. Thomas Hill Organics features wine-paired courses for each winemaker, and The Hatch highlights large format bottles with their family style cuisine. Tickets are $90 – $125 all-inclusive per seat and each dinner is certain to sell out.

The 35th Annual Wine Festival holds its educational Winemaker Seminar on Saturday, May 20, at 10:30 a.m. at the Paso Robles Inn Ballroom (1103 Spring Street, Paso Robles, across the street from the Paso Robles Wine Festival). Listen and taste along as a panel of winemakers explores characteristics classic to Paso Robles wines. On the panel for 2017 are Ancient Peaks Winery, Halter Ranch Vineyard, ONX Wines, Turley Wine Cellars, and Vina Robles Vineyards and Winery. Moderating the panel is David Wilson, host of Grape Encounters Radio, who will lend his knowledge to guide the panel along in discussion. Tickets are $25 per seat, limited to 75 attendees.
