Medsis Donates Solution to the Government of Colombia for the Reparation of Victims

BOGOTA, Colombia--()--Through a recently signed Agreement between MEDSIS and the NATIONAL VICTIMS REPAIR UNIT, represented by its director general Alan Jara, the multinational company undertakes to modernize the entire database system by means of the Donation of the use of its big data management technology and database platform CEREBRO, to convert all existing databases into a single unified civil registry. In this way, using the platform, along with extremely advanced and state-of-the-art security protocols and algorithms, the identities of all registered victims can be safely verified and stored, maximizing efficiency in all programs within the UNIT OF VICTIMS and potentially beyond.

This project, together with its partners in technical-financial services, WAIV and Orangehook will provide a platform for the distribution of benefits to the more than 8 million victims of the internal conflict, collaborating in the distribution of approximately 1200 Billion Pesos in the course of the next ten years.

WAIV will be the financial bridge between the UNIT OF VICTIMS and the persons registered in it. Together with a known payment network for the card and an important Colombian bank, with the largest possible National presence, WAIV will be responsible for integrating with the MEDSIS: CEREBRO platform in order to be able to accurately disperse the reparations and financial humanitarian aid to the people registered in the database. The integration with WAIV as a processor is what makes it possible to manage and disperse the 1200 billion pesos contemplated for the victims in the next 10 years.

Orangehook is an identification authentication company based in the US and brings its unique experience and vision to the project to help MEDSIS keep the identity and information of each individual victim registered and their transactions completely secure.
